RSS Feeds
You have no doubt heard about RSS and Blogging. They are
everywhere, and to be honest, quite rightly so. I have run
tests and, if used correctly, can have a significant impact
on your business.
A Blog, for example, can be used to short cut your way into
the search engines. It is not a short cut to success in itself
mind, because you cannot beat having good content for winning
with the search engines, but a Blog is definitely a short
cut to getting your site spidered by the search engine robots.
This can shave months off your wait time for the spiders to
come crawling.
I have tested it, and it works. I used Adrian Ling's excellent
RSS
report to get this information, and if Blogging, RSS and
Search engine positioning is of interest to you, I can highly
recommend it.
