Crontab Example - Using CpanelThis crontab example is taken from a series of tutorials written to take you through the process of installing a script on a server. Whilst it is not necessary to follow all of these tutorials in sequence, you are welcome to refer back to them to gain a full insight into what is going on. What is Crontab?cron is a Unix utility or program, which allows users to run other programs at scheduled times. Backups would be a classic example of this. These are often termed as cron jobs. Crontab (CRON TABle) is a file which contains the schedule of cron entries to be run and at specified times. In order to run a cron job, you need to program it. Fortunately, most web servers are able to do this via their cpanel. If you are unsure about how to access your cpanel, then you should speak to your ISP. In our particular case, we have set up and installed an Ad Exchange script, and now we want the system to check that points and commissions are added to members accounts every month. Once we are at cpanel again
