How To Edit The Templates

The distribution of you business articles is critical to your success with driving traffic to your web site via the search engines. Article Announcer is a tool that makes the distribution a lot easier, ultimately improving your bottom line via AdSense or through conventional affiliate payments.

The purpose of this short tutorial is to show you how easy it is to change an existing template, or even to add a new one, so that the form fields are automatically filled in you go to submit a business article.

If you currently use Article Announcer, then you might find this useful.

If some of the Business Article Directories listed do not auto fill correctly, you can tweak them using this method and save yourself a lot of time.

1.	When you first load Article Announcer, you will need to select your article, and then locate the Directory to Edit. Click on the <To Directories> button (as shown in the image below) and use the scroll bar to locate the Directory to edit. Click on the check box for that Directory (as in the example below). Then click on the <Submit> button.
2.	Article Announcer will take you to the submission page (you may have to log in). You may also have to locate a link which will allow you to submit an article.
3.	Once you have located where to submit your article, the text will have been automatically entered into the fields of the Directory. Here is an example. You will of course have to select an appropriate category for your article.
4.	Now, this is where Article Announcer is REALLY clever. You can tweak where it sends its information in the Directory. In the first instance, select the <Customise> button.
5.	Clicking this button will enable a new panel to the left of the Directory panel. You will need to click on the <Article Info> button to bring up a list of the available variables.
6.	If you click on the <Edit Template> button (the blue button on the left hand side)
7.	What you will see, is that the text in the Article Information fields will disappear, and replaced by the variable Tags that Article Announcer uses. You will notice that in the 'Text' field, there is no resource box listed!
8.	Click in the 'Text' field in this case, and press the <Enter> key on your keyboard to leave a space. Then, highlight the 'Resource Box' field in the list under 'Article Info', and click on it. The additional variable will appear as shown below.
9.	Click on the <Save> button (the Orange button shown below)
10.	The text will then return to the Article forms, and now (and in future) your article will automatically have a resource box attached.

This is just one example, but I hope it gives you enough information to be able to make adjustment to Article Announcer to get the full benefit from this excellent program.
